Relationship charts can be useful for keeping track of who your character knows. They aren't mandatory but they are handy.

The ballroom is directly off the great hall, seperated by a large wooden door. The most note-worthy feature of this wonderful ballroom is the massive gold chandelier suspended from the center of the ceiling. The floor is highly polished wood, and rows of mirrors line one of the walls. There are large glass doors that lead out onto the balcony. When in use, a band plays both inside and out on the balcony, so the music is continues even if you choose to take some air.

Positioned at the centre of the palace is the Picture Hall. . Its walls are almost entirely covered by a series of 368 paintings, mostly of variously dressed women, differing in appearance and even age, yet most were drawn from a single model. These were purchased in 1764 from the widow of the Italian artist P. Rotari, who died in St. Petersburg.

The library is the only 'plain' room in the entire palace, since it is barely used by the Russian Royal family. It is not extravagant, but it is well-stocked with all kinds of books. It is quite small, but the bookshelves go from floor to ceiling on every wall, only broken up by a tall window that allows plenty of light to filter into the room. There is a fireplace and a few comfortable armchairs for any who wish to read here for a while.

The music room is small but cosy. It is decorated in rich red, with wall panels and drapes all the same shade. It houses a grand piano and any are welcomed to sit a while and either enjoy the seclusion or play a few tunes on the piano.

The East and West Chinese Cabinets were decorated between 1766 and 1769 to exhibit objects of decorative art imported from the East. The walls were decorated with imitation Oriental patterns by Russian craftsmen, and hung with Chinese landscape paintings in yellow and black lacquer.

Only the Tsar, Tsarina, members of the Russian royal family and those with express invitations may enter these rooms. They are lavish and excessively comfortable, not to mention heavily guarded.

Every guest at the Peterhof palace has their own room, either singularly or that they share with their spouse. Even the young Princes and Princesses have their own rooms. They are all lavish and accomodating.

Although mostly used by the palace staff, the kitchens are open for any who wish to find something to fill a corner between meals. The kitchens are small, but the staff are highly skilled, and the cupboards are always well stocked.

The servants quarters are the hidden underbelly of the extravagant Peterhof Palace. They are cramped and dingy, though not wholly unpleasant to life in, and considering the servants spend most of their time around the Palace doing whatever it is they are required, it doesn't matter.
