DISTRESS AND COMA !
[/font]An Era Long Ago.
Two great dragons, Yin and Yang, foresaw a war that would change the world forever. Concerned for the future of the mortal races of the world, they warned the people of the trouble to come... but no one believed that such a war would come to pass, and the warning of the dragons went unheeded.
As hundreds of years passed and the world knew only peace, any thoughts of war were mocked.
But the great dragons were never wrong.
The Realm Of Lunaeire.
The two kingdoms of Lunaeire, Drakovia and Eivalan, are on the edge of conflict. The King of Drakovia, a ruthless tyrant whose people suffer under his reign, plans to conquer Eivalan by force, but the King of Eivalan, adored by his people for his benevolence, has no intention of conceding his lands to his enemy. It is almost inevitable that their dispute will lead to fighting; the King of Drakovia will not be stopped and his intention is to ultimately achieve dominance not only over the two Kingdoms but over the entire world. For the benefit of all those who would become his subjects, he cannot be allowed to succeed.
The war that Yin and Yang predicted is coming.
Desperate to preserve the peace the kingdoms have enjoyed for so long, the people have appealed to Yin and Yang for their aid. Despite having had their earlier warnings ignored, the dragons could not ignore the pleas of the people. They released twelve spirits into the world; each of which would enter the body of a mortal with the potential to end the war and grant them powers that would aid them in doing so.
Akuma Academy For The Gifted.
A school like no other: a place where students with unusual powers or mental conditions are taken to learn lessons both conventional and exceptional. A school in a castle on an island; distanced from the rest of the world. It is here that the twelve spirits have found those they will inhabit; here that the decisions that will change the world forever will have to be made.
The spirits' presence here was supposed to be a secret.
But one man discovered them, and decided to put the school, its special students and its powerful new residents to his own uses.
Nagendra Phinneas, the most loyal and least sane general of the King of Drakovia. A man with his sights set on eventually conquering the world itself alongside his king. Before hoping to take on such a monumentous task, he is in need of one key thing: an army powerful enough to do it. To that end, he paid a visit to the Akuma Academy, and, meeting no resistance, evicted its headmaster and appointed himself to that position.
Immediately, everything at the Akuma Academy changed.
Nagendra was quick to implement his changes: to alter the subjects taught at the school to centre them on himself; to change the decor of the castle to theme the building on himself; to declare his subordinate, Kariyu Kunadashi, in charge of everything going on in the school; to declare that all students, staff and other beings at the school must now be loyal only to him; and then to leave, before anyone could raise an objection to the new headmaster and his selfish rules.
Now, staff and students alike have been left to adjust to the changes. Throughout the Academy, there is anger at the new headmaster and at the way he is using the students simply for his own gain. The spirits now inhabit their chosen ones and are attempting to get involved in ending the war, but with Nagendra in control of Akuma Academy and them unable to leave, their prospects are far from ideal. The headmaster's subordinate has just arrived in the school, and now the most rebellious and untame group of students ever gathered together has a new authority to hate.
Will Yin and Yang's plan to prevent the war succeed? Or will Drakovia and Eivalan see the bloodshed their people are so desperate to avoid? Will Nagendra have his way with the school, turn the students into his own personal army and further his plans for world domination? Or will the students fight back and decide their own fates?
One thing is sure: the world will never be the same again.
