FULL NAME Evangeline Tess Constantinides
ALIAS Eva, Tess, Angel
AGE nine-teen
NATIONALITY Greece
OCCUPATION Princess
PERSONALITY Evangeline’s name means “like an angel”. Her middle name, Tess describes her birthplace as the fourth child. She wears this name proud. Her ideals and mindset reflect that of an angelic figure. Growing up in the Greek Orthodox Church, she knows clearly the differences between right and wrong and despite being a princess, has led quite a sheltered life. She knows of the palaces and balls and how to act as a lady, however she secretly longs for the world outside of royalty.
Her religious background has given her a drive to succeed in anything she does with prayer by her side. Eva is a spiritual person who is beginning to find herself in this large world. Her personality is one that you would be delighted to come across. Eva’s light shines through in whatever she does whether it be taking a leisurely stroll or reading by the seaside.
She is soft-spoken when in the company of men and often gets quite nervous. The thought of love is a mysterious and exciting thing but Eva is not sure if she is ready for such a thing. She can hold her own when it comes to her beliefs, and she stands up for her siblings and family. She hates the idea of people acting condescending towards her and can be very stubborn with issues of religion. She tries to keep an open mind, though and is a thinker. She is conservative but not judgmental and loves everyone including the servants of the house.
Eva loves a good laugh and has a carefree bubbly personality about her. She can find humor in many situations but knows when the appropriate times are to show it. Her best friends include the ladies-in-waiting and the servants. She enjoys their wild tales of peasant life and will spend hours enthralled in their stories.
Eva is not perfect though; she often feels very impatient and will resort to childish ways of keeping occupied. Her decisions are not always thought out, and Eva thinks with her heart not her brain. It becomes difficult for her to keep focused sometimes so she can be scatterbrained. When it comes to men, Eva is entirely unsure of how to approach a relationship. She enjoys men as companions and as brothers but is clueless when it comes to love. She hopes to fine this love someday but is relying on God for it to come.
Eva can get really intense when she is doing something she enjoys. Her lack of focus may put up a few barriers, but she tries to really work on her priorities while still pursuing passions.
Eva enjoys being outside and in the sun and stays active for a princess. She loves dancing and musicals and usually breaks out a tune wherever she goes. She enjoys fishing and talking to the fishermen along the docks often disguised with a cape or with her brothers by her side.
Her parents have a good relationship with Eva and are surprised what a nice girl she has turned into. However, rifts occur when she longs to see outside the palace and into the world. Her sheltered lifestyle is not fit anymore and she wants to see what she can.
She’s very intelligent, but possesses naiveté that is strange for her age. This innocence and life in her makes her the talk of many royal dinners. Her father insists she is too “soft” to rule, and Eva is perfectly fine with this. As a princess though, she will continue to support her parents until their reign ends.
Knowing this, it is hard for Eva to break free of this shell she’s been accustomed to. Her polite ways and passive attitude surely will be looked over, but Eva is ready to take charge of her life.
SEXUALITY straight
APPEARENCE Eva is a lovely woman. She is a fine example of beauty in Greece. Though she is one of the only blonds in her family, she carries this well. Her hair is soft and wavy. She likes to have it straight one day and curl the next. It depends on her mood. Eva’s face is heart shaped with an ample forehead. Her cheekbones are high and she possesses a marvelous smile that enchants and charms. Her eyes are small but very blue and round. They are deep-set so they give off a mysterious vibe.
Eva’s body is petite in all ways. She stands at a mere 5 foot 1 inches. This small frame misleads many into thinking she is younger than 19. She carries herself in the way of a more mature person however. Her posture is decent but a bout of scoliosis has left her a bit off centered. Poor Eva, she loves to dance but her posture and long legs sometimes give way to clumsiness. Her maidens have given up trying to teach her the proper way to walk, and Eva usually moves with her own style and “grace”.
Her build is slight but she is not frail. Eva spends most of her days working and walking so she has lithe muscles all over. She does not weigh much but could arm wrestle any of her brothers just the same, and win. This muscle tone is quite opposite of her personality so Eva acts humble and does not bring attention to her physical attributes.
Eva has a slightly boyish figure with gentle curves but not too vivacious. She has long legs and small feet. Her hands are a little calloused and she always breaks nails doing yard work (her mother is most disappointed), but they are quite dainty and polished when need be.
Her fashion sense is unique for Grecian culture. She loves wearing flowing skirts but not too stuffy. She likes the freedom of the wind on her feet so she hardly wears shoes…and the wind in her hair. She likes dressing in ball gowns at times, but usually frowns over the extra fabric. She maintains modesty in her clothing like everything else and tries to not make a spectacle of herself. When she is among her ladies and maids, Eva often dresses down, makes and sews outfits for her gals.

HISTORY Eva grew up in a grandeur palace in Athens near the coast. The palace rose from the rocky shores of the Mediterranean Sea. It was the only place Eva has known as “home”. She loves the castle and all of its charms. Her father and mother, the King and Queen of Greece, had ruled the throne for about 7 years when Eva was born. She was the first daughter born to the King and Queen, and they were delighted to have a daughter, a princess. They also had three sons before Eva and another son and daughter after her.
Evangeline was born in 1821 right at the beginning of the Greek War for Independence. This long and tedious war was fought until 1830. Therefore, much of Eva’s childhood was spent in the throes of war. Often there were times when her brothers took her and they hid in the highly reinforced parts of the castle, if a battle was said to be near. She had noticed her father going off to fight and feared for his life. Eva’s brothers also feared war for they knew they would have to fight if it lasted much longer. Eva and her mother bonded and she grew to learn of faith and prayer. This helped her through the tough times of war. She knew of battles, death, and destruction but the thoughts of war were still terrifying to her. Finally, peace came when she turned nine. Her father and mother still were running the country and doing well amongst the people. Greece had won its independence at last!
Eva grew into a teenager and went through that naturally awkward stage. Her father feared she would never find a husband. Her younger sister was more ladylike, he said. But Eva did not mind being a child. She missed most of her childhood during the strains of war and longed to go back and do it all. She was very close with her brother Niklaus, but the two have grown apart recently because of his poor life choices. She wishes to rejoin again someday with Niklaus and reconcile. Nik had always told Eva wild stories and she soon had a great imagination.
Athens had become the capital city in 1838 and the ancient temple of Thisseio was converted into St. George’s Church that same year. Eva was there to honor it. She now is attending the Russian Peterhof Palace mainly from her parent’s request. She was ready to go to Egypt for the summer while touring, but her parents wished for her presence at this royal get-together. Eva does not know what is in store for her but looks forward to the challenges life beholds.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLEAmber slowly dismounted Jade, her nine year old black mare. Jade’s nostrils flared and her thighs pooled with sweat. It had been a calm ride, but the day was warm and humid. Amber also found herself drenched in sweat. She pulled her long brown hair back into a pony tail and efficiently unsaddled Jade. The horse rolled in the dirt and snorted with delight. Amber chuckled and took in her surroundings.
She was in a small clearing in the forest, where the blackbirds chirped and a red fox was seen scampering through the brush. The clearing spread out to the edge of a pristine lake. The lake looked clear and inviting. Jade was already taking advantage of the water and rehydrating. Amber stood on a large rock looking out towards the other side of the lake.
Thoughts swirled in her mind about her upcoming graduation. She was an adult now, she reasoned, and it was now time to move on. The summer heat was diminished for a moment by a cool breeze. Amber sighed and sat down on the slate boulder. Graduation should be a happy time. One should be able to throw their cap in the air and say, “I made it! I am done!” But for Amber, this was only the beginning. Her dreams of going to college for veterinary science would be put on hold. Her mother was struck with a rare form of lung cancer only a few short months before. Amber decided to stay home and help out her distraught father with the care of her ailing mother. She sighed and her heart grew heavy once more.
Amber felt the heat of midday rush back to her and almost engulf her. She looked around hastily and the clearing was dead silent. She enjoyed the calm and silence. This was not eerie like the silence you find at funeral homes or…hospitals. No, this was serene, tranquil silence.
Carefully, Amber took off her boots and laid them next to the rock. She then started running towards the cool immaculate water, stripping her clothes off along the way. Jade snorted in surprise and sniffed the jeans that now lay next to her muzzle. Amber felt the water splash onto her ankles and calves, finding instant relief from the humidity. She dove underwater, and swam for a while. The moment she surfaced, the lake was not calm anymore. She felt bad for disturbing the peace on such a peaceful day, but the warmth had overcome her. Now in an attempt to rekindle the calmness, Amber back floated and watched the ducks fly overhead.
The sun still was bright as hell, but the temperature remained bearable now. Amber reflected and this seemed to be like her life right now, the troubles and grief seem to be so bright at this moment that the good things in life are overlooked. She soon would be diving into the waters of adulthood and all that comes with it. Maybe these challenges would make the other issues tolerable. Her mom would get better, she just had to.
Just then, Amber heard a noise. Not just any normal forest noise. Jade Threw her head up and looked around, ears perked. The sound was of footsteps, clearly human. Amber, remembering her nakedness, quickly dove into deeper waters. She resurfaced and her throat closed in a tight gasp at who she saw standing on the beach…
